Shadi Rahbaran
Shadi Rahbaran is a practicing architect based in Berlin and Basel and is involved in teaching and research at ETH Studio Basel with Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. After having finished her architecture studies at the University of Toronto, she worked at various offices such as Bruce Mau Design in Toronto and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam, Berlin and Porto. She established her own architecture studio in 2003 and co-founded constructconcept in Berlin. She has been involved in ongoing and completed projects in Germany and Switzerland and is currently participating in the Ordos100 project in Inner Mongolia, China. She taught at Cornell University in 2006 and has been a lecturer and guest critic at various schools, such as UdK Berlin, the University of Toronto, the University of Limerick, and Cornell University.
