Rolf Jenni
Born in 1972 in Biel, Switzerland, Rolf Jenni completed his degree in Architecture at the technical college between 1989 and 1994. He continued his studies in Architecture at the University of Applied Science in Biel from 1993 to 1997 and expanded his education from 2004 to 2006 with a postgraduate course in Architecture and Urbanism at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam. He has taught in design studios as a teaching and research assistant at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic (ETH Zurich) and at the University of Applied Science FHNW in Basel, and has been employed at ETH Studio Basel since 2007 as a researcher and teaching assistant. He has lectured and been a guest critic at ETH Zurich, TU Delft, the Chu Hai Architectural College in Hong Kong, and the Universities of Applied Science in Basel and Zurich. Apart from his teaching and academic activities, Rolf Jenni has been in collaboration with various architectural firms in Switzerland and Holland since 1997, being involved in a wide range of the architectural practice. In 2007, he founded his own office for architecture and urbanism, Raumbureau, in Zurich together with Tom Weiss.
